You've heard the best places are little holes in the walls? I have discovered a WONDERFUL place, nestled in an Atlanta suburb!
My friend Ann and I were meandering around picturesque Norcross, Ga. It's a beautiful little tree lined city, centered around the town square. We enjoyed the specialty shops they had lined along the street, complete with several outdoor cafes.
The restaurant is inside an old, probably-century-old building, complete with pipes hanging from the ceilings. But what an atmosphere it had. The walls were old brick set against white table clothed tables and impeccable service.
I fell in love with their meatballs!
The first time we went there, Ann had a sub and fries. I asked them if they had meatballs and or course, they did. But I asked them if they could substitute Marinara sauce with Alfredo sauce and they were happy to do so. The PROBLEM was that there were so many and SO BIG that I ended up taking some of them home with me. I absolutely loved their food; probably as much for their kind service as for the food itself.
They surprised us in Lawrenceville
Later, I went to a concert in a neighboring suburb, Lawrenceville. And we were surprised to see that just across from the concert venue, was another Dominick's. It also looked like a hole in the wall, with the same brick walls and white linen table clothes, nestled in an old building. But by then, we had realized that they have multiple properties (other suburbs as well) but who cares. The food and service at this eatery is exceptional. We've been back multiple times. Give them a try!
