New York City has Central Park. New Orleans has Audubon Park and we have Piedmont Park. I decided that I'd like to spend the afternoon at Piedmont Park so I ubered down there. Here is where I entered the park. One of the first things I came upon was the Visitor's Center, first constructed in 1910 and restored in 1996.
I was sitting on a bench as these ladies passed by. I tried to be as inconspicious as I could as I snapped their picture.
A number of people had scooters like this man did. And of course, I noticed alot of bikes.
You can see the lake through those bushes.
Look very closely and you can see the geese and squirrels on the grass.
Piedmont Park is in Midtown and there is a highrise peeking through the trees.
Those stairs lead down to the beautiful lake.
As I exited the park onto 10th Street headed towards Peachtree St, I passed Myrtle Street.
From here I called another Uber but I had spent a good two hours in the park, people watching and I enjoyed it very much.
