Welcome to the hotel and the area around it.
I've put together some helpful and useful information for you about the hotel and the surrounding area. I hope this information will be helpful for you while you are here.
ABOUT THE HOTEL
In our lobby, across from the front desk and to the right, we have a small business center for you where you can print out your flight tickets and any other documents you need. Also, while there, be sure to enjoy our fruit enhanced water and our coffee station, complete with teas as well. And, down the hallway on the first floor, in addition to a coke machine, snack machine and ice machine, we have a gym that is open until 11:00 for you. In the summer months, we have an outdoor salt water pool for you also. If you'll look on your key jacket that I gave you, you will see the code for the wifi, which is free.
Our breakfast is open from 6:30 until 9:30 Monday through Friday and from 7:00 until 10:00 on Saturday and Sunday. And it's free.
At our desk, we have toiletries that you might have forgotten to pack, as well as extra items such as plastic ware, soaps, shampoos, etc.
ABOUT THE ROOM
As you enter, you will see what looks like a large mirror. But it's really a door, hiding the closet. And in that closet, you will find an iron and ironing board as well as a hair dryer. It will be in a bag, on the top shelf. And on your desk, you will see a notice from Order Inn (unaffiliated with Best Western) where you can order food to the room. Of course, Door Dash and Uber Eats come here as well. On the back of your door, you will see a "Do Not Disturb" sign in case you want to use it.
ABOUT THE AREA
On our street, if you leave our parking lot and cross the street, you will find The Grand Buffet. It is an Asian buffet with 5 islands and a Hibachi grill and sushi bar. And then, next door is East Pearl Seafood. It also, is Asian and is a sit down menu restaurant. They are known for their Dim Sum. Also, to the right of the hotel, at the light is a Waffle House and to the left of the hotel, just behind Home Depot, is a wonderful Vietnanese Farmer's Market.
If you leave the hotel parking lot and go to the right. At the light, if you turn to the right and go through one light, on the right is The Georgia Diner, a very popular little diner complete with a Cake bar. They have a very good menu. In addition to Burger King, Popeye's, Wendy's, Chick-Fil-A, Schlotzky's and McDonalds, all being in the next two blocks, you will find a wonderful Latino Seafood restaurant called Las Costas Nayaritas. I love this restaurant. It has a great latin vibe, complete with Mariachi singers who will come to your table and sing - for a fee, of course. Just pull out of our parking lot and go to the right. At the light, turn right and go past the second light. They will be on the right, in the same parking lot as QT gas station.
If you pull out of the parking lot and go to the light and go through the light, there are several more choices, immediately on the right just past the light. After going through the light, there is the Bahama Breeze which is a Caribbean restaurant. Also, there is a little shopping center just behind them and you will find a southern restaurant there, Who's Got Soul Southern Grill.
And, if you pull out of the hotel and go to the right and go through the light, about 8 minutes down the road, you will dead end at Sugarloaf Mills Mall. This is a great specialty mall with wonderful stores. And the mall is surrounded by great restaurants. And speaking of malls, THE largest mall in the whole state, The Mall of Georgia, just up 85 at exit 115 (we are exit 104).
On the other hand, if you pull out of our parking lot and go to the right and at the light, turn left, you will cross over Interstate 85 and you will be entering "Little Korea" with wonderful Asian shops and restaurants. Also, at the first light on the other side of 85, if you turn left, there is a great Latin Mall on the left, called Santa Fe Mall. Also, beginning past the second light on the other side of 85, grouped together is Red Lobster, Applebee's, Hooters, Chilis and Olive Garden.
